Its the middle of October and the middle of Swimming for Lions and the middle of the channel. A fantastic effort so far has us 1,332 lengths into the channel, thats over 33 kilometres and Dover to Calais already completed, but we have much further to go and we will keep swimming.
As our pictures show teams from the Isle of Wight and Rickmansworth have been busy and big thanks to everyone so far, Mandy Davis, Lin Davis, Annie Coster, Wendy and Phil Harrington and more waiting to enter the pool.
We are focussed on trying to raise £1750 to equip the Anti Poaching Team and Rangers in Ndumo Game Reserve on the Kwa Zulu Natal Border with Mozambique, with new uniforms , boots and equipment as the battle with poaching increases.
